Event Title: "Java Jumpstart: A journey into Java Programing Fundamentals"


I. Details of the event/activity

    Java Jumpstart: A journey into Java Programing Fundamentals. We are Learn Tech and this is our first webinar completed that held on September 22, 2023 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at via online google meet. Almost 75+ participant registered for our webinar and our attendees are almost 40+. Our resource speaker here is Mr. Ryan Andrei Temporaza, he is a Software Engineer at Accenture.


II. Reflections the webinar/activity give rise to (learnings)

    Here we refresh everything we studied in java when we were 2nd year college. What our resource speaker taught here is the first of course the Java basics so that the participants who are new to java can also to keep up and understand. The following are the Control Structures, this is a Conditional statement (if, else, switch), Loops (for, while, do-while), and Break and continue statements. We have also given them an idea in the Introduction to Object-Oriented Programming to Understand the principles of OOP, Classes and objects, Methods and functions in Java.

    To conclude, our resource speaker gave tips on what Java Best Practices are. He showed how to write a clean and readable code and importance of Code commenting and documentation, especially in naming conventions and style guidelines. 


III. Reflections on possibilities on implementing some of the webinar input on a practical level. (Practical application of learnings)

    We can use these learnings in our work in the future. Especially what our resource speaker he said before he became a software engineer in a company, he first went through the basics that he should know. That's why we should just keep studying and practice coding in whatever language we are comfortable with.


IV. Positive feedback (on the event organization)

    All the staff of Learn Tech cooperate throughout the event. The meticulous planning and flawless execution were evident at every stage of the event. From registration to the final closing, everything was orchestrated seamlessly.

    Explore collaboration opportunities with relevant organizations, influencers, or industry experts to broaden the reach and impact of future events
